Depository Services

VABank has actively operated on the stock depository market since May 1997 (current custody services license of the Securities and Stock Market State Committee (SSMSC) no. 30-3 of 2000)

VABank is a founding partner of the Inter-Regional Stock Union Joint-Stock Depository, a shareholder of UICE, USE and Central Securities Depository Closed Joint-Stock Company, a member of Ukrainian Banks Association, OTC Stock Trading System (OTC STS), and Professional Association of Registrars and Depositories (PARD).

Depository services are available from the Bank's Depository Division located at 21 Dehtiarivska Street, Kyiv.

VABank offers a full-scale Custodian service, including:

• opening client securities accounts;
• securities bailment;
• converting client's documentary securities into book entry assets and their further electronic turnover;
• accounting of securities titles exchange on client's request;
• tracking Issuers' corporate actions involving change of interest assigned to securities and adjustment of securities accounts to reflect the respective changes; making available to clients any information the Bank as a Custodian has received from Issuers or Registrars;
• as requested by clients, collection and further transfer to cash accounts of income from securities kept by the Custodian;
• reports to securities owners on accounts status and activity for any period.

Special Securities Accounts Operation Terms:

• registration of an Attorney acting through commission agreement or by power of attorney as a securities owner's Account Manager;
• services of a securities nominal holder with respect to Stock Owners Register (re-registration of titles to securities provided by clients in Custodian's or Depository's nominal holding – faster and cheaper than by the Registrar);
• sufficient terms of custody, accounting and registration of collateralised or in any other way encumbered securities on clients' securities accounts;
• securities delivery versus payment (DVP)

Client Guarantees:

• securities accounts operation in strict adherence to client agreements and instructions and applicable laws and regulations;
• timely, accurate and complete transactions upon clients' instructions;
• timely settlement of client transactions;
• reliable protection of clients' assets against loss or misuse;
• timely collection and distribution of income from clients' securities;
• timely and accurately informing clients on Issuers' corporate actions and acting upon clients' respective instructions;
• accurate daily accounting of clients' securities encumbrance
